Selling Your AGT Paintings: Member FAQ
Selling Your AGT Paintings: Member FAQ
Yearly members with the AGT selling license can sell the original paintings they paint from Art Garden Therapy lessons. Here's how it works.
Joining
Who can sell AGT paintings? Yearly members who have the selling license. Monthly, six-month, and gift memberships don't include selling rights; for them, AGT lessons are for personal use only.
What does it cost? The yearly membership and selling license come together in one yearly payment. Founding members pay $397 per year: the yearly membership at $180 (2 months free) plus the license at $217. After October 15, it's $497 per year: $180 plus a $317 license.
How do I get the founding price? Join by October 15, 2026. After that, the $397 rate is gone for good.
Will my price go up? Never, as long as you renew on time. Founding members can still be paying $397 years from now.
Will you show me how to sell? Yes! Everyone who signs up gets a Zoom class (recorded) where Valerie shows how she packages and sells small paintings.
Selling
What can I sell? The original paintings you paint by hand from the regular AGT lessons, as many as you like. You set your own prices and keep 100% of your sales. Commissions are fine too.
Can I sell Valerie's animal or other flower paintings? No. Only the regular AGT lesson paintings are covered. Valerie's animal paintings and flower paintings that aren't AGT lessons are not included.
What can't I sell? Prints, canvas prints, cards, stickers, mugs, shirts, digital files, or copies of any kind. Only the painting itself.
Where can I sell? Craft fairs, art shows, markets, your own shop or website, Facebook, Instagram, Etsy, and galleries. Not print-on-demand sites, wholesale, or stock image sites.
Can I enter my painting in an art fair or contest? Only if the event allows paintings made from lessons, kits, or classes. Many don't, so check the rules first.
Can I say it's from Art Garden Therapy? Yes, you may say it was painted from an AGT lesson, but you don't have to. Don't use AGT's logo, say AGT approved your work, or claim the design is your own.
Can I post the reference photo or lesson images? No. Show buyers photos of your own painting only.
Can I teach the painting or use it with AI? No. You can't teach AGT designs, share the lessons, license them to anyone, or use them with AI tools.
Can someone else help paint them? No. Every painting you sell must be painted by you.
Renewing and Cancelling
Do I have to sign again every year? No. Your license renews automatically when your yearly membership renews.
What if my card fails? You have 14 days to update your payment, and you can keep selling during that time. After 14 days, your membership and license lapse.
Can I get a refund? All sales are final, with no returns or refunds. Your membership and license renew automatically each year at your locked rate, and you can cancel anytime before your renewal date to stop the next charge.
What happens if I cancel? You can keep selling until the end of the year you paid for. After that, you can't list or sell AGT paintings, and you need to take down your listings within 7 days. Paintings already sold stay sold, and you can still deliver anything a buyer paid for.
Can I come back later? Yes, at the price new members are paying then. A locked or founding rate can't be restored after a cancellation or lapse.
Will selling AGT paintings make me money? There are no guarantees. Your sales depend on your own skill, effort, pricing, and market.
This FAQ is a summary. The AGT Member Original Painting Sales License is the official agreement. After you purchase, you'll receive a link to sign your license agreement.
