How does my recipient get access?

After you purchase your gift subscription - Email me at valerie@artgardentherapy.com with your email address and your recipient's email address and name and I will get them set up! You can also have them email me after you let them know you got them this gift and I will get them set up!

How much does it cost a month?

  1. $18/month at the moment, on sale from $47/mo. Because this is a gift membership - you can get 6 or 12 months at a time with 1 or 2 months FREE (depending on which you get)

Is this online?

Yes! This painting club is all online and all recorded - no need to make anything live!

My recipient has never painted before - will this be easy?

Easy is a relative term! But I’ve created this club for the complete beginner and we start out nice and slow! I include step by step video instruction that lays out everything nice and easy. If they have painted before - there's plenty in here for them too!

What's included?

This is for the painting videos only - painting materials are not included. A material list with links will be provided - and your recipient can go out and gather the materials I suggest using. Or we have pre-packaged boxes complete with paint, brushes, canvas and more that can be purchased from us with the simple push of a button!

Does my recipient need a separate bedroom or studio to paint in?

Goodness no! I paint from my kitchen table either early in the morning, in the evening, or when the kids are in school. I show you how to set up your space so you can paint practically anywhere there’s a table and chair

What type of paints is this?

We paint in acrylic paint because it's easy to add layers (so if you don't like something in your painting it's easy to change it!)

We also paint in acrylic because acrylic paints can be painted and cleaned up with water! Which means you can paint most anywhere!

How long will this take?

We’re all busy, myself included! We have one painting a month. The painting takes me a little over an hour, but may take you a little longer as you stop and rewind as you are painting and watching the video. You can break your painting up into small chunks of time if you’d like to.

Can a friend or relative paint with them? What about kids?

Of course, and oh what fun! We have many members that choose to paint with their friends, relatives and/or neighbors. I paint with my boys frequently, and we have quite a few moms who paint with their kiddos. I keep the videos family friendly 🙂

Does my recipient have to draw?

They do not! I provide traceable images so they can transfer the image onto their canvas so you don’t have to draw. If you’d like to draw, you are welcome to!

Is this for artists?

Yes, but it’s not a place for professional or aspiring professional artists. This space is geared for those who are creative and want to paint, but have never painted before, don’t paint very often - or who have painted a long time ago. I don’t talk about selling your art or creating an art business and you are not allowed to teach others how to paint the paintings in this membership. This painting club is for personal painting instruction only

What if I my recipient doesn't like this - is there a guarantee?

If you find that Art Garden Therapy is not for your recipient - please email me (valerie@artgardentherapy.com) within 14 days of joining and I'll offer you a full refund.
